The Development Economics Study Program was established on February 5, 1986, based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 0502/0/1986 with "registered" status. Then, as time went by, the situation changed to "Recognized" with Decree Number: 177/Dikti/Kep./1993, and since 1995, the situation changed to "Equalized" with Decree Number: 149/Dikti/Kep./1995. The process and status of the Study Program accreditation were obtained on August 11, 1998, with Decree Number 01164/AK-I-I/UMM.IEP/VIII/1998.
